Gen 1:1 The Lord is the creator of my heaven and earth; my universe is purposely created and responsibly governed by the Almighty God and only source of life.
Gen 1:2 My world is constituted and lively; light is over the surface of my deep, and the Spirit of God hovers over my waters.
Gen 1:3 As God said, “Let there be light,” I have light consistently.
Gen 1:4 My light remains good as God saw it, and it is separate from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 For me light is “day” and the darkness “night.” I have evening, and I have morning — just as God described the first day.
Gen 1:6 At God’s command, I live in-between waters.
Gen 1:7 The water beneath and the water above.
Gen 1:8 My sky is soft and fluidly but not hard. My evening is separate from my morning — as it was the second day.
Gen 1:9 At God’s command, my world is orderly. Water has its place and dry ground its place.
Gen 1:10 My land and seas are consistently good just as God saw it.
Gen 1:12 My land produces vegetation: seed-bearing plants according to their kinds and trees bearing fertile fruit according to their kinds. My land is good — just as God saw it the third day.
Gen 1:14 At God’s word, lights serve me: it separates my day from the night, and marks my seasons, days and years.
Gen 1:15 My world is lit from the sky above at God’s command.
Gen 1:16 My day and my night are governed by God’s great lights. He also made the stars for me.
Gen 1:17 My stars are set by the Almighty God and they lit my world.
Gen 1:18 My day and night are governed; my light and darkness don’t mix. My time is good just as God saw it on the fourth day.
Gen 1:20 At God’s authority, my waters swarm with living creatures; my sky is filled with birds of every kind.
Gen 1:21 It is for me God created the great sea creatures and every living and moving aquatic life, and every kind of bird. And God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:22 For my sake, God blessed them at the close of the fifth day. Therefore, they are ever fruitful, increasing in number and ever filling the water in the seas; the birds are ever increasing on the earth.
Gen 1:24 At God’s saying, my land produces living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.
Gen 1:25 The wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. For my sake, they remain good just as God saw them.
Gen 1:26 As God said, I am the image and likeness of God. I have God-given dominion and I rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and the livestock. I rule over all the earth and over all the creatures that move along the ground by the counsel of God.
Gen 1:27 God created me in His own image, in the image of God, He created me; male and female He created us.
Gen 1:28 Blessed directly by God, I am fruitful and I multiply. I fill the earth and subdue it. I dominate and rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living thing — spirit or flesh — that moves on the earth.
Gen 1:29 I received from God every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They are mine for food.
Gen 1:31 I am very good and my world is very good — just as God saw me on the sixth day.
